Pedal Cinema 2024

Dear MGC Community,  

This Friday 23rd Feb we are hosting our 13th annual pedal powered cinema.  Please bring along your family and friends for a fun, social event in our lovely school grounds. Gates open at 5pm and the film “Barbie” begins at dusk. Tickets available on-line or at the gate. Please pre-purchase where possible to avoid queues. You can also pre-purchase tokens for use on the stalls in advance and collect these on entry. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your ticket purchase! 

This year we are providing a limited number of bike tune ups between 5-8pm. Pre-purchase a super cheap $15 bike tune up from our partners at https://www.therapidwrench.melbourne/ 

A huge thankyou to all the staff, parents, friends and students who have chased sponsorship, sought film rights, designed posters and been involved in the organisation of this fun event. Special Acknowledgment to Year 11 student Sienna De Kretser for her fabulous design on the 2024 film poster. 

All proceeds raised go to environmental projects such as biodiversity, recycling and energy efficiency campaigns to improve the school’s environmental footprint. 

We are still seeking donations of soft toys, chocolates and other lollies for our carnival games and any offers of prizes for our raffle. If you are able to donate any of these items (in eco friendly packaging like Smarties if possible please) then please send in your donation via your child to Ms Catie Cameron Martin.
