Year 6 Team

Intro: Here is an Interview about Travis, an awesome teacher at LPS. We will be asking some hard hitting questions with unexpected answers. I hope you enjoy it and learn a thing or two.

What was the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

In grade six I was walking past the school building and had a look inside to see what another class was doing and I didn't see the flagpole in front of me and walked straight into it head first.

What do you like about teaching?

I like building relationships with the kids and seeing them achieve goals.

What do you dislike about teaching?

That's a hard one to answer. Probably some of the extra work that comes along with the job, administrative work.

What is your favourite sport?

My favourite sport is AFL.

What is your favourite song/band?

Oh I find this a really difficult one because I like music from all genres but I'd say my favourite band would have to be either Metallica, the Foo Fighters or Queen.

What is your favourite book?

This is a difficult one as well! I guess 'Stronger and Boulder'. It's a book about the Richmond premiership in 2017.

What is your favourite food?

I'd have to say my favourite type of cuisine would be Thai food but things that I can make would be a nice simple steak.

If you had to sum up teaching in 1 word what would it be?

An adventure .

What is your best joke?

Why did the scarecrow win the Nobel Prize?

Because he was outstanding in his field!
