In Reading this week, students continue to work on identifying features of persuasive text
VOCABULARY
Persuasive: Able to convince or influence others effectively.
Persuasive Features: There are many persuasive features such as arguments, evidence and rhetorical questions.
Rhetorical Questions: These are questions that are asked, to get the reader thinking about the writer's point of view. They are asked for their opinion or to emphasise a point. Example- Issue is around school uniform- Wouldn't you feel happier if you could wear what you wanted to school?
