GOSPEL: Mark 11:1-10   PALM SUNDAY 

Mark's Gospel takes us to the scene where Jesus enters Jerusalem with a triumphal welcome in the week before the traditional Jewish feast of the Passover. Jewish crowds who were there for the feast days waved palm branches (a custom of the time used to welcome visiting kings) and cheered Jesus’ arrival on a colt.

CARITAS PROJECT COMPASSION 

Next Wednesday, please come along to our student leadership initiates of hosting a Family Movie Night. We do ask if you could donate $5 per person, which will go towards our Caritas funding. 

Fund Raising Initiatives 

Icy Poles Sales—Don't forget that on Wednesdays and Fridays in the second break, our Faith leaders will be selling icy poles to raise money for Caritas Australia's Project Compassion. Throughout the Lenten season, we are committed to raising as much money as possible to support this cause.

We have already raised $74.65 with just over a week to go.

St Mary's is keeping track with a Tapitas Water Wall with water droplets cascading down. For each donation of $5, a droplet of water will be added.

Crazy Clothes Day - was a great success. it was fantastic to see how creative students (and staff) could be with everyday items. Well done to our student leaders for bringing such a creative and engaging fundraising activities to our school community.
