BRAITH - MY SURFEB STORY

https://www.surfebruary.com/my-surfeb-story

Meet 7-year-old Braith who is taking on SurFebruary for the first time in honour of his later grandmother Gigi and Great-uncle Albert. “I am participating in SurFebruary for a few special reasons. My late great grandmother, Gigi ,was treated by Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Our family were extremely pleased with the care our Gigi received. We will never forget how much it meant to us.”

“Also, my great-uncle Albert is currently being treated at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, the organisation means a lot to our family.”

Braith has only been surfing for a year and with the support of his Dad, he has been improving his surfing skills every day whilst smashing his fundraising goal. Braith is number 6 on the Leaderboard with $2,337 raised already.

“My family tell me that this is a great way to give back and make a difference.” Braith's mum, Renee, will be documenting the Grom Squad Surf Club surfing the waves at Cronulla and Gerringong throughout February to make an awesome video commemorating the month! Thank you Braith for sharing your SurFeb story.

On Monday 3rd March, 2025 Braith has been invited to visit the  Chris O'Brian Life House. They will take him on a tour around the place and personally say thank you for participating in SURFEBRUARY. We are all really very proud of him. He has raised $3,156 with a goal of $350. He’s done very well. Braith is in Year 2 at Our Lady of Fatima.
