P&F News

Hello parents, caregivers and friends of the St Joseph’s community.

It was lovely to see all of the families who were able to make it to our annual 'Welcome BBQ' which was held on Thursday 20th February. It was a shame that the rain interrupted our plans for the previous week but holding the date over a week meant we had families able to spread out picnic rugs on the grass and enjoy some time with families and friends. The P&F supplied the sausage sizzle for free whilst families could purchase chips, drinks and ice-creams for a small fee. Thank you to all families in attendance as well as the staff who were present and assisted with the BBQ.

We are now turning our attention to our annual Easter raffle and ask if families are able to generously donate prizes for the raffle. Chocolate eggs, Easter craft supplies and Easter themed plushies were most appreciated last year and would be gratefully welcomed again. Donations big and small may be taken into the school office and will be packaged together with other items to make up the prizes. Raffle ticket books will be sent home to each family in due time to be sold amongst the St Joseph’s community.

Thank you in advance for your support. I know the students find the raffle draw very exciting.

The next P&F Meeting will be held Tuesday 6th May, 5.30 – 6.30pm in the Library (Week 2, Term 2).

Regards,
