Cultural Diversity Week
Monday 17th March – Sunday 23rd March
At ENPS, we take pride in embracing and celebrating the diverse cultures that make up our school community. As part of Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Week 2025 (Monday 17th March – Sunday 23rd March), students will be engaging in meaningful learning experiences to foster understanding, connection, and a sense of belonging.
This year’s theme, "Embrace the Journey, Shape Our Future", encourages us to honour our own cultural stories while appreciating the journeys of others. In recognition of this, our students and families are invited to take part in a Family Postcard Project. This is a collaborative activity that showcases cultural identity and family unity. These postcards will be displayed across the school, celebrating the rich diversity that strengthens our ENPS community.
Please only use the A4 postcard template provided (and only on one side) to represent your cultural heritage and family.
Some hints and tips:
Please include your family name.
It can be colour or black and white.
If you use photos, please have them printed on plain paper (not photo paper) so that it can still be laminated.
Please stay within the postcard template.
Draw something that represents your family or a cultural tradition important to your family.
Decorate with designs.
Postcards will need to be returned to the class teacher by Monday 17th March.
Thank you for your continuous support and cooperation! For more information contact your child’s home group teacher or the office.
We are also excited to announce that ENPS will be celebrating Harmony Day on March 21st in conjunction with our whole school community event, "Countries of ENPS". This special event will provide students with the opportunity to explore and learn about different cultures through interactive activities, performances, and shared experiences. Please check out the follow page for more information.
We invite all families to join us for our special whole-school assembly, starting at 2:30pm to celebrate Cultural Diversity and the sense of belonging and connectedness that ENPS values and promotes. This will be a wonderful opportunity to embrace diversity, inclusivity, and the spirit of togetherness that makes our school community so special.
We look forward to celebrating with you all!
