Physical Education and Sport

At the start of Term One, Physical Education classes collaborated to establish expectations for the year. Lessons introduced the School-Wide Positive Behaviours: Safe, Kind, and Respectful. We then created an Essential Agreement to uphold these values in PE. Students used a word document to add their own responses, they worked collaboratively to form their ideas, and they then discussed how they’d be successful in PE with their peers. These behaviours will be their focus for the school year in our Physical Education lessons.
ENPS Swimming Carnival
It was exciting to see the students in Year Four to Six wearing their brightest reds, blues, greens and yellows to kick start ENPS Swimming Carnival! We had an amazing day with plenty of talented swimmers showing off their skills at Keilor East Leisure Centre.
Congratulations to all students for completing their events, showing wonderful enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and contributing to the overall house points on the day. It was a close competition with Baan House taking out the overall win (again).
Also a big thank you to the following parents: Joshua, Nisa, Rachel, Yolande, Maryam, Aimmey, Esther, Amanda, Sarah, Kara, Kate and Ryanne who helped out on the day. Without parent support, this event would not have run as successfully as it did. Thank you!
Successful students who will now represent Essendon North Primary School at the District Swimming on February 26th have been notified and the Compass event has been sent out regarding all information for those involved.
There’s lots of lost property from the Swimming Carnival, please see photo below. If any is yours it is now at the 'Lost Property' area near the office.
