IPS WELLBEING

COMMUNITY FOOD SHARE
As some of you may be aware, we have introduced a food pantry for everyone in our school community to utilise. Every 2-3 weeks Mrs Luckman will be doing a fresh order of fruit, vegies and pantry staples for people to pop in and stock up on. Please don't be shy, we would love for everyone to benefit from this service. The produce will be kept in the school foyer on the bench near the office.
BREAKFAST CLUB
Twice a week we are lucky enough to have Anne and Brenda come into school to provide brekky for our students and staff. We absolutely love to share a yarn over a warm cup of milo, toast and eggs. We would love to invite all our students in to eat brekky with us from 8.30am every Tuesday & Thursday in the school kitchen.
On the menu Tuesday is toast, fruit and cereal, while Thursday we are lucky enough to have Brenda's famous scrambled eggs on toast. Milo and a glass of milk is provided both days. We find this is a wonderful way for students to sit and have a conversation with other peers they might not necessarily chat to all the time, and for staff and students to engage in relaxed and informal chats. All very important in building a happy, safe and inclusive school community!
