Welcome back for the 2025 school year. This year we welcomed 11 Preps and 2 new students to the school and welcomed back 118 other smiling faces. We look forward to the 2025 school year and working closely with you all.
My apologies for the lateness of this week's newsletter. Our newsletter usually comes out on a Tuesday afternoon.
Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our 3-6 House Swimming Sports due to the maintenance at the Beaufort Pool. I am currently trying to work out an alternative plan, however, costings for buses and other pool locations is playing into these decision-making processes. I will get information out to families as soon as I have something.
On Tuesday, our 2025 School Captains, Henry and Lyla, attended their first official community event, helping create a labyrinth on the floor at the Beaufort Library. Later this term, our other school captains will take part in a larger created labyrinth in town. If you are in the area, please stop in and see their work.
School Council held their first meeting for the year on Tuesday evening. The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 11th March and we are currently looking for new members. The official nomination period will commence next week, and information will be sent out to all families.
Parents, please remember, my door is always open to you all, and if you need to see me, simply call and make a time or pop in to see if I am free. I like to work closely with all our families. I believe in the importance of a good connection between school and home and the only way to have this is through open communication. I look forward to working with you all this year.
