P&F News

We’ve had a big start to our year, last week at the Day One Coffee Van we kept Chris busy, he served close to 80 coffees in the hour, that’s a record for our coffee van and we hope that it’s a sign of things to come for this year.

Looking ahead

Our annual Sundowner is tomorrow, Friday 14 February.  It’s a great way to meet new parents and catch up with old friends.  We meet in the courtyard outside the Pratten Centre between 6.00pm and 8.00pm, with food and beverages provided by the P&F.  Don’t forget, with the assistance of the school we are providing creche facilities as the event is an 18 plus event.  Please book your creche spot for primary school-aged children here.

The Year Seven Meet and Mingle is being on Sunday 23 February.  With the influx of so many new families in Year Seven we would like to invite old and new families to the school gym at 3.00pm.  The students can play basketball, netball, cricket, whilst the parents relax over some finger food and beverages. There was information in this week' school Bulletin emailed out on Tuesday.  We look forward to seeing lots of Year Seven families there.  We held a similar event last year and it was a roaring success.

WhatsApp - watch this space

The P&F, in collaboration with the school, is working hard to set up a WhatsApp group for each year group, through which the P&F rep will be able to send out messages. In preparation, please download the WhatsApp app so that will be able to click on the link sent out to your year group next week. This is an 'opt-in' opportunity, with P&F information continuing to be shared via the weekly Bulletin and Anchor newsletter.

Wishing you a good weekend and looking forward to welcoming you at the Sundowner!

A message from Justin Goldsmith - Operations Supervisor Great Southern

You are probably aware of loading issues on the new route 738 service to GSG.

As a result, my colleagues have provided a solution that will take place from next Monday 17 February.

The driver has been handing out flyers to the students this week.
