Dear Families,
This week, as part of Student Wellbeing, the whole school is focusing on the Character Strength of Hope!
Hope is a character strength that means having a positive outlook and believing that good things are possible — even when challenges arise. It’s about staying optimistic, setting goals for the future, and taking steps to make those goals happen. For children, hope might look like believing they can improve at something with practice, staying positive after a setback, or thinking about what they can do today to make tomorrow better.
As part of this focus, each family is invited to contribute to our school “Hope makes the world go around!” display. Families are invited to complete the attached coloured dot and write about something that gives your family hope. They may also choose to paste a photo or draw a picture that represents hope.
On each coloured spot, write or draw something that gives your family hope — these can be:

Your coloured dot will be used to make a display on the library doors.
Please bring your dot to school by Friday, 22 November, so it can be included in the display.
Thank you for supporting this initiative. We encourage every student to stay hopeful, set goals and believe in their ability to make a positive difference each day.
Warm regards,
Kellie Foley
