A Message from the Assistant Principal

Learning to the End - wind up not down.

Last term, I shared this thought: if a child misses just 10 days of school each year, by the end of their schooling, they will have missed a whole year of learning.

Now, at the halfway point of the final term, you might wonder is it time to wind down or wind up and push through? Winding down now could mean 10 weeks of decreased classroom learning which will equal about 50 days which, using the same calculation, is nearly equivalent to half a year of learning minutes. Let’s support one another and galvanise our efforts to finish the term strong.

Road Safety Reminder

A friendly reminder to follow road safety rules, especially 3 point turns and U-turns near the school. Keeping our students safe is everyone’s responsibility.
