Mr. Lee

Wow! We're over half way through the term already! Over the past two weeks our students have been involved in Remembrance Day ceremonies, Division Cricket, plenty of measuring and designing of dream homes in Maths, as well as persuasive writing and immersing ourselves in our class novel in Literacy.

Our division cricketers spent last Thursday in at Central Reserve competing against local schools. Our Alvie students formed a team with students from St Brendan's PS and Birregurra PS to form the Polwarth team. While we didn't have any success in terms of wins, the students certainly did win in terms of their attitude, inclusiveness and support for each other. It was a wonderfully enjoyable day out and I thank our students (and part-time coaching expert, Rowena) for making it so.

This week, I ask parents to chat to students about the dream homes they've been designing as part of their Shape unit in Maths. Hopefully, these homes can be displayed as part of an upcoming expo, so keep an eye out for details on this.
