Kookaburra Class
Howdy 3/4 Families,
It’s been a wonderful fortnight of learning and laughter in Kookaburra Class. We’ve really been enjoying our journey together.
In Reading, things have become very exciting and tense in 'His Name Was Walter', and Magda's prophecy was right. Walter did die at the hand of an enemy. In Writing, students have been writing the conclusion to their narrative pieces as well as learning about talking marks and using conjunctions. In Maths, continued exploring using long division and have just started exploring fractions.
Reminders for parents:
*20 mins of home reading Monday-Thursday or 1 minute Fluency (if they bring their text home) *Reading Diaries brought in Fridays *Drink bottles filled with water daily
