Professional Learning Day: Wednesday 5th Nov

Strengthening Our Practice for 2026

As part of our ongoing commitment to the MACS Vision for Instruction and the Flourishing Learners 2030 framework, we spent our recent school closure day focusing on strengthening our whole-school approaches to teaching and learning.

Our staff visited Docklands Primary School, where we explored a range of classroom routines, student engagement practices and flexible learning environments. This experience allowed us to reflect on the strong foundations we already have at Sacred Heart, while identifying further strategies that will enhance student participation, engagement and learning as we plan for 2026.

We are grateful to the educators and leaders at Docklands Primary School who generously shared their time, knowledge and insights, allowing us to learn from one another and grow together as a community of learners.

Insights from the day are now helping us refine our instructional approaches and whole-school routines for the years ahead. We look forward to continuing this journey of growth as we strive to shape informed, capable and confident learners who flourish with hope, courage and love.

End of Year Mass

With only four weeks left of the school year, we warmly invite you to join us for our End of Year Mass. This special celebration will give us the opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the year we have shared together, to farewell our Year 6 students, and to acknowledge families and teachers who will be leaving. We will also take this moment to announce our school leaders for 2026.  We would love to see you there!
