Cricket 

On the 25th of October, a group of 30 grade 5/6 students went to the Sandhurst Division T20 cricket blast. The event was held at Catherine McAuley College, Junortoun. There were three teams representing St Monica’s, one girls team and two boys teams. It was a great day out and all participants represented our school in a positive manner. Thanks to Mr Chalkley, Marnie, Natalie Walsh and Luke Garsed for your support on the day. 

Athletics 

on Wednesday t6th Nov we have two students, Darcy Yin and Thea Hulls representing St Monica's and the Region at the School Sport Victoria State Athletics Champs.

Darcy will compete in two events the 100m and 200m, with Thea competing in the long jump.

Both of Darcy's event's will be live streamed as follows:

- Event 12 100m @ 10.40am Heat 2

- Event 38 200m @ 12.32pm Heat 1

Unfortunately the field events are not streamed, so we will follow Thea's progress via the results.

Run Club

Students and parents are invited to take part in out weekly run club. 

Walk/run as many laps of the school oval as you can from 8.10 - 8.30am every Friday morning. It's not a race, you set your own pace. Challenge yourself to better your lap count each week. Proudly wear your run club achievement badge for the day and encourage your friends to come along. 

Just sign in at the gate on arrival and participate to the best of your ability.
