Student Leadership 2025

At Our Lady of Fatima we believe all students are provided with opportunities to display and develop leadership qualities throughout their years at school. We offer students the chance to explore their potential for personal growth and leadership through working with others, developing teamwork and showing a commitment to their school and parish in order to continually improve the school community.

This term our Year 5 students are given the opportunity to reflect on the qualities of leadership and are encouraged to nominate themselves for the role of School and Vice Captain in 2025.

Students will have the opportunity to nominate themselves for Sports Colour Captain and their involvement in one  of the Year 6 leadership teams at the beginning of the 2025 school year.

Student leadership provides all of our Year 6 students the opportunity to live out our school motto: “To Love and Serve under your Protection”.

Student Leadership information will be shared with Year 5 parents in Week 5.

BYOD Year 3 2025

Commencing in Term 1, 2025 Year 3 students are invited to take part in the “Bring Your Own Device Program”. Parents please note that the designated device is a Chromebook and not any other device. Other devices (not a Chromebook) do not support all of the educational websites we use.

Chromebooks assist us to move to more of a cloud-based computing platform and provide a 21st century learning environment. This promotes creative thinking, collaboration and communication among students while giving them access to whatever it is they need.

If you would like to read more about why Chromebooks are our designated device please click on the article; Chromebooks vs. Laptops which is the best for students?
