VOCABULARY

Deconstructing is when you break something down into smaller parts to understand it better.

Narrative is a story that describes a sequence of events, often with characters and a plot.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Using a narrative book from your child's blue satchel or a book from your home library, deconstruct the narrative into the parts following the structure, using the guiding questions to help you deconstruct.
