Welcome new and returning families. 

Welcome, my name is Belinda I am a registered nurse and have been working at Skye Primary School for about 8 years in sick bay and other areas around the school, I am married with a blended family of 3 children (2 in high school now) I live locally in Carrum Downs so I am sure you will or already have seen me around the area. 

I only have a couple of reminders for families

Please send a full change of spare clothes for your child (named) just in case they have a toileting or other type of accident. 

It is great for prep parents to start reminding and coaching their little ones about  using the toilets, some key areas are: 

• close the toilet door for privacy 
• only your child should be in the toilet stall (no friends)
• talk to your child and demonstrate to them if you need hygiene wiping
• remember to flush 
• wash your hands 

If your child attends sick bay you will receive a sentral notification of the reason and treatment.  I will call parents if the injury is substantial or requiring them to be collected from school.
