Happy 2025! Welcome back to the school year to all our returning Skye families. And an extra warm welcome to our new Foundation parents and carers joining us this year! It has been a busy start to the year but there is a definite sense of calm and positivity in all of our learning spaces, which is amazing to see.
New to our well-being team this year and to Skye primary school is, me, Danielle Wadley! It has been an amazing start to such a wonderful school community. I have been so welcome by staff, students and families. If you see me around, please come and introduce yourself, I would love to say hi! I have just moved back to the area after living in Bendigo for the past 14 years where I worked as both a classroom teacher and Disability Inclusion Coordinator. This year, I look forward to working with students and supporting families to ensure all students with a disability and/or additional needs are supported and feel safe and engaged in their learning. Inclusion is a passion area of mine.
