End of Year Organisation

Moving Day:

Tuesday is Moving Day in preparation for 2025, and this will impact a few Year 3 classes. 3PA will be moving into the portables near the Learning Centre for the last week of school, and 3KY will be hanging out in the Learning Centre! Teachers will inform students where their new line up areas will be before Moving Day.

3PA and 3KY students will need to bring a bag to school on Tuesday to help them carry their belongings from one room to the other, as unfortunately tubs are staying behind!

Bringing Things Home:

Students will begin bringing contents from their tubs home. To make this easier, we ask that they are sent to school with a plastic/reusable bag to put things into, as it may not all fit into their school bags.

Class Party and KK:

Wednesday 18th December is our Vermont Primary Class Party Day! You should have received information about this from your child's classroom teacher. We ask that all presents are brought in before Wednesday, so we can ensure no one will miss out. Food can be brought on the Wednesday morning to school with your child, or dropped off. Please arrange any drop offs with your child's teacher.

2025 Classes

Students spent the day today with their 2025 teacher and class! We hope all the students had a great day and are looking forward to the new challenges of Year 4! If your child was absent today, then feel free to reach our to your child's classroom teacher and they can pass on the details of their new teacher.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

As the year comes to a close, we want to extend our warmest wishes to all our Vermont Primary School families. It has been an absolute pleasure working with your children this year and watching them grow, learn, and thrive. We hope you have a joyful and safe holiday season filled with love, laughter, and relaxation. We can’t wait to see you all refreshed and ready for another fantastic year in 2025!

Year 4

Class Party

The class party will be held on Wednesday, 18th December! The Year 4 students will be enjoying a pizza lunch and an icy pole. The cost of the pizza lunch is $5, and we ask that the required money is given to their classroom teacher by Monday, 16th December.

SeaLife Melbourne Aquarium Excursion

The Year 4 excursion to the SeaLife Melbourne Aquarium was an unforgettable adventure! Students had the opportunity to explore the vibrant underwater world, observing a variety of marine life, from playful penguins to majestic sharks. The hands-on experience brought science lessons to life, allowing students to learn about ocean ecosystems, conservation, and the fascinating creatures that inhabit our seas. It was a day full of excitement, discovery, and lasting memories!

Great Barrier Reef Expo

On Thursday, 12th December, the students displayed their Inquiry unit project in the stadium to showcase their wonderful posters and 3D models that they have worked on throughout the term. The Year 4 students were very excited to see so many students, teachers and families coming to visit and celebrate their efforts.

Merry Christmas

As we move closer to the end of the school year, we want to thank our wonderful Grade 4 students and their families for a memorable year. Our students have shown incredible growth, enthusiasm, and hard work, and we are so proud of their achievements. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for their continued support.

We wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable summer, and we look forward to hearing about the exciting adventures that await our students in Grade 5!
