School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)

This year, we are excited to launch into SWPBS. SWPBS stands for School Wide Positive Behaviour Support. As part of this, we have expected behaviours that our students will have lessons about work on achieving throughout the day. When our students model these behaviours correctly, they will be able to earn a token. Students can then save up their tokens to spend on different rewards at our school shop. Every student has had the chance to visit the shop and they are all very excited about the different things that they could buy. The shop will be open Wednesday at this stage for students who would wish to purchase something with their tokens. 

In addition to this, we have refined the behaviour management process. When students make a poor behaviour choice, this will be classified as either a minor or major behaviour and staff will follow a process for determining an appropriate consequence of the students involved.
