The silver rain, the golden sun 

The fields where poppies run

And all the ripples of the wheat 

Are in the bread I eat

So, as I sit with every meal 

And sing this song I feel

That I am eating rain and sun 

Where golden poppies run

I would like to thank all the children and families of Prep S for making this a warm and joyous year full of imagination and kindness. The children have taken special care to make each other feel included, safe, valued and validated. We are all friends in the circle learning together. 

We have had a happy first year in our Wilam of Walert (wombat burrow) working, playing, creating, discovering qualities, patterns and movements of numbers, telling stories, reading and writing magic tales, singing and dancing. We have been the baker, potter, thread maker, toy maker, storyteller, musician, magician, mathematician… What a sharing and caring village we are. 

Let us dance again next year, Round and round the village, round and round the village, round and round the village, as we have done before.
