Class Reps for 2025!

Now is the time to reach out! Put your hand up to be class rep. It’s a great opportunity to be involved with our amazing school. You can do it on your own or with a friend! The more parents involved the better!  Email - gpsreps@gmail.com. If we start 2025 with all our reps, it really is a smooth start to the school year! 

As the end of the year approaches I’d like to say thank you to the amazing PFA committee, the incredible hard working parents and volunteers who do so much for our school community. A huge fundraising total for 2024…$74,079.86. This is beyond wonderful! Wow. Thank you all! 

Because it’s how I roll… a reflection of 2024 in a poem. 

So the time has come, your fav part of the night,

The time I reflect with much joy and delight.

Where shall I begin, oh What can I say?

About the amazing incredible PFA.

2024 was wild, it was full and jam packed!

Supplies and equipment the storeroom was packed.

Over the summer holidays way back in 2023

We sorted and organised, Kym, Tanya, Hugh and me.

Our usual events that we love and adore,

Wine and cheese  what a hit, why don’t we do that more?

The mothers day night saw the mums all a dancing,

The dads having donuts and the kids were all prancing

We went to the movies to celebrate HERRRBy in June,

And we camped and made s'mores under the moon.

We sold tea towels and notebooks and mangoes a plenty,

We made hundreds of lollybags, way more than 20!

You are always all there at the end of the phone

Please come and help, you always hear me groan.

There are hundreds of whats apps and texts and email,

We plan each event right down to the gory detail!

A special goodbye to some folks out of the door,

Your impact has been huge and we thank you once more!

Thank you for all you have done over the years

So to you the amazing team, you are top of the chart,

I thank you so deeply right from my heart

To me you are “the bomb” you are simply the best,

So much energy and enthusiasm, better than the rest!
