EPro8 Championships: 

We are so proud of our EPro8 students.  The team of Savio, Cooper, Mikael, and Joseph were told they would have won if they could have just finished the last task. Unfortunately, the extended time they had to wait to get the second to last stage 'checked' by the assessor meant they were left with only two minutes to finish the task - so close!

Needless to say, they were very disappointed (and upset).

Coach Teresa Hannard reminded them of how awesome they were and all the effort they had put in.

The team of Ryan, Debby, Brax, and Max came sixth.  They chose a build that required lots of mechanics - something they weren't really used to.

The theme of the semi-final was Arcade Games and both teams chose to do 'Space Invaders', which was by far the most challenging, complex and demanding of the options available to teams.

We have tremendous respect for Summerland School and admire all they do - however, as our nearest neighbour, we always want to beat them. Although we didn't win this semi-final, we did well and truly beat Summerland, so that was some consolation for our teams.
