For 2024 entry we will be offering the following set-figure scholarships to new undergraduate residents who completed Year 12 in 2023:
$10,000 Scholarship - awarded to the DUX of a Catholic school.
$5,000 Scholarship - awarded to students ranked 2nd in their year from a rural or regional Catholic school.
$5,000 Leadership Scholarship - awarded to students that have displayed exemplary leadership skills in their school community.
Bursaries available based on personal financial need. These range from $2,500 - $10,000.
Guaranteed $2,500 bursary for students from select rural and regional schools.

Newman College is a vibrant and diverse co-ed residential College affiliated with The University of Melbourne. In addition to providing students with a safe and secure place to live, the College offers fully furnished rooms, all-inclusive meals and utilities, modern library facilities, additional tutoring, peer mentoring, pastoral care, as well as sport, music, art, drama and community service opportunities. Students are not required to vacate the College in the mid-year break and get free access to The University of Melbourne’s gym and swimming pool. Newman is located on leafy Swanston Street, meaning students have easy access to the CBD and beyond, as well as being just a short stroll from The University of Melbourne. We also accept a limited number of students attending RMIT, ACU and Monash (Pharmacy).
UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
University College is one of the ten residential colleges situated near the University of Melbourne, accepting students from other nearby universities including RMIT, ACU, Monash city campus, La Trobe, Deakin, and Victoria University. To find out more click here.
MANNIX COLLEGE
Applications - Applications for 2024 residency open on August 1st and our primary Open Day is on August 6th. Places are awarded on a first-in, first-served basis with the number of applications received exceeding the available places. We interview all applicants and seek a reference from their school. If a student is passionate about joining Monash and Mannix, we encourage them to apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Find out more.
Scholarships - We offer scholarships to help students in need to join our community. Scholarship applications for 2024 close on November 30th. The majority of our scholarships are designed to support students from rural or regional areas. Find out more.
Tours - We are keen to meet with your students and answer any questions they may have, either at your school or here at Mannix. Prospective students and their families can tour Mannix by making a booking via our website. If any of your students are attending the Discover Monash or Monash Open Day they will also be able to tour the Mannix campus then.
