Room 15 News

The students of Room 15 have been very busy and having fun learning.

In Maths, we have been learning how to represent numbers in different ways. Our favourite way has been making tallies. We have realised that by grouping collections, it makes counting a lot easier.

We also have been learning the number system to 20 and working out which number is greater and which number is less. Crocodiles like to eat the greater number!

Our classroom also has a new light panel and we try to use it in all different kinds of ways. We created teen numbers and then made collections of buttons to match.

This term we will continue meeting our Year 6 buddies fortnightly. It’s been great getting to know them and visiting their classroom. For the remainder of the year, we will be drawing some self-portraits and participating in some outdoor activities to learn some new skills.
