MALLEE REGIONAL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Mallee Regional Athletics Championships 

On Thursday, 5th October, 2023, four students from Red Cliffs Secondary College competed at the Loddon Mallee Regional Athletics Championships in Bendigo.  All four students performed really well.

• Isabell Alchin won gold in the 15 year old girls’ 100m, 200m and 400m events.
• Latoyah Sinaki won bronze in the 18 to 20 year old girls’ discus event.
• Sam Staley won bronze in the 12 to 13 year old boys’ long jump event.
• Luka Baudewyns threw a personal best of 26 metres in the 18 to 20 year old boys’ javelin event.

We congratulate Isabell, Latoyah, Sam and Luka on their excellent performances and for their superb representation of our school.

We also wish Isabell  all the very best for when she competes in the State Athletics Championships in Melbourne on Monday, 16th October, 2023.
