Cake stall notes...
WHITE ELEPHANT STALL IN THE HALL….
J4 are running the White Elephant second hand stall at this year’s Fresh Food Fair and we would love some donations!
All donations can be dropped at the school hall on:
Sunday October the 29th between 9:30-11:30am (at the working bee)
Monday October 30th between 8:30-9:15am
Tuesday October 31st between 8:30-9:15am
Wednesday November 1st between 8:30-9:15am
Thursday 2nd between 8:30-9:15am
What can I donate? The best things to donate are things that you would be happy to keep using yourself, but just don’t need anymore.
Typical things you can donate include: Toys, games, books, sport and home wares etc!
What can’t I donate? Please do not donate any clothing, gas or electrical items or anything that is broken, damaged, torn or stained.
LUCKY JARS....
J8 are running the LUCKY JARS (BAGS) stall and in line with tradition, we are holding a competition across the entire school! The class that can bring in the most lucky ‘ziplock bags’ for J9’s stall will win hot chips for lunch for their whole class!
J9 students will visit all the classrooms and collect the bags every few days 😊
The competition will end on Friday the 3rd November (FFF day).
Examples of things that can be put into a zip lock bag are:
- Hair ties/scrunchies
- Stickers
- Crayons/pencils
- Soft toys
- Wrapped lollies/chocolate
- Small toys (marbles, cards, bouncy balls, cars, yoyos)
- Anything else small and fun!
CAKE STALL....
We invite the Surfside community to bake cakes, biscuits and slices for J10s MASSIVE community Cake Stall and J7s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!
Cook your favourite cake, muffins, cookies, slice or scones to fill the paper box that will be sent home via your eldest child the week prior to the fair.
1. Cover with plastic wrap.
2. List your name and all the ingredients on the sticker label provided.
3. Deliver to the school staffroom on Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd between 8:30 – 11am.
4. Be at the Fresh Food Fair Friday night to enjoy some yummy cakes, biscuits and slice!
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY ITEMS WITH CREAM
