Mother's Day Mass

Thank you to all of the Mum's, Grandmother's, Aunt's and special people that joined us for our special Mother's Day litergy last Friday.

Congratulations to the Mum's who won a prize in the raffle!

A big thank you goes out to Mrs K and Mrs Jackson for the delicious cupcakes you made for everyone, what an undertaking! Well done on creating the beautiful photo booth and plaster flower display for the day too.

Mother's Day Morning Tea

This year our Prep's got to enjoy a special Mother's Day event with their Mum's or special person.

The classrooms were filled with smiles and laughter as everyone was busy with colouring activities, playing games and enjoying each others company.

Our visitors were then taken to the kids kitchen where they were welcomed by Mrs L and her crew of Grade 6's, with a table full of sweet treats, fresh fruit and a cup of something hot to warm up on a chilly morning.

ISS Football

Through three weeks, the St. A's football team has been electric on the field. Teamwork, communication and camaraderie have been central to the effort shown by all.

In our first match up versus St Brendans, stellar performances from the Round 1 Captain - Jaxon E and relentless pressure and tackling from Jack set the team up for the day.

Strong midfield efforts from Nathan and Eli S put the icing on the cake as St. A's stretched to a 7 goal win!

In Round 2, the team put in an incredible effort. With Liam starring in the midfield, and this round's Captain - Connor - collecting plenty of disposals. Charlie was a dominant intercepting presence in defense, while Harley kicked a bag of goals with 4 majors in a starring effort.

The pressure was high, with Verity and Raff applying relentless tackles, and Eamon along with Archie working the wings. Despite leading at half time by 2 goals, a strong Bayside CC unit came back to win by 9 points.

In this week's matchup against St. Johns,

With the Lightning Premiership looming in Week 8, the team is fired up and ready to represent the jumper with pride!

ISS Soccer

Today, our team competed against St. John's in an interschool sports match and came away victorious with a 2–0 win.

Our girls played with great determination and teamwork, showing excellent communication and support for one another throughout the game. Their strong coordination and sportsmanship were key to securing the win. Well done, team!

The year 5/6 boys soccer team has shown exceptional team spirit and determination in their recent games. Despite facing tough opponents, the squad remained united and committed, displaying great character throughout.

In the first two games, the team battled hard in closely contested matches. Each game was decided by narrow margins, and although they ended in losses, the boys’ resilience never wavered. Their defensive efforts were commendable, with the backline working tirelessly to hold off the opposition. Midfielders and forwards pushed forward with energy and creativity, creating several chances and showing strong attacking intent.

Their hard work paid off in the latest match, where the team bounced back with a well-deserved win. The defenders stayed compact and organised, cutting off threats early and transitioning smoothly into attack. The midfield linked up brilliantly with the forwards, resulting in a number of exciting attacking plays and a well-taken goal that sealed the victory.

Throughout all games, the boys displayed great teamwork and a positive attitude, never dropping their heads and always encouraging one another. Their determination and improvement are clear, and they look set to build on this momentum moving forward.
