Kindness Launch Day

Our Lady’s Kindness launch day is about our new whole school expectation of the word KIND. Each week, as a school, we will be focusing on one of our expectations in regards to being KIND.

So next Tuesday, you are allowed to wear something yellow to represent kindness. This cound be a headband, ribbon, T-shirt, windcheater, a hat. This is not a casual clothes day, so the yellow must be worn in conjunction with the rest of your school uniform.

Being kind to others matters, kindness is choosing to do something that helps others or yourself, motivated by genuine, warm feelings. Kindness, or doing good, often means putting other people's needs before our own. Being kind is always the right thing to do.

Mothers Day Breakfast

This week we had the Mother's Day breakfast. Students along with their mum’s came to have a lovely breakfast with treats, drinks and pastries. It was delicious. We shared a lovely poem and prayed about our mums, there was a raffle, and we also raised money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

It was a fun experience for our mums and a very special time where we could share a meal and bond.

Mother's Day this Sunday

This Sunday, everyone will be celebrating Mother's Day. Mother's Day is about thanking the Mothers all around the world for everything they have done for you, and a day for your Mother to have the best day possible. I hope you and all of the mothers out there have a great day! Try spoiling them with love and gifts, breakfast in bed would be a great way to start their day.

Have a lovely weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all the special women in our lives who are our mums and like our mums.
