Year 3 & 4

Around our level

Over the past two weeks, our Year 3 and 4 students have thoroughly enjoyed participating in their reading group rotations each morning. These sessions have offered a wonderful opportunity for students to work collaboratively, build confidence in their reading abilities, and engage with a variety of texts in fun and meaningful ways. Whether reading aloud, exploring vocabulary, or discussing story elements, the students have shown great enthusiasm and growth.

In addition to their classroom achievements, the students also had an exciting time at Athletics Day on Tuesday. They competed in their age groups, moving around a range of events, including the 100m and 200m sprints, hurdles, obstacle course, long jump, triple jump, discus, and shot put. It was fantastic to see their competitive spirit balanced with teamwork and encouragement for one another. Every student gave their best effort, and it was wonderful to see them trying all the different events. The day was filled with smiles, cheers, and a strong sense of achievement!
