Selamat Siang

We have had a wonderful week in the Independence Centre. Students have been working on addition and subtraction in maths. It has been wonderful to see students showing perseverance as they practice borrowing and renaming when the subtrahend is bigger than the minuend.

In Guided Inquiry, students had the opportunity to meet with, and ask questions of Nick McGowan MP as part of our unit on Civics and Citizenship. Questions ranged from what his day-to-day job entails, how our systems of government run, and even questions about his favourite foods childhood memories.

Have a wonderful week,

Kathy, Ros, Julia, Mandy, Fatima and Suzie.
