UNLOCKING POTENTIAL:

Comprehensive Testing Program at Kerang Technical High School—Did you know that at Kerang Technical High School, we go beyond the basics to ensure every student reaches their full potential? Our comprehensive testing program is designed to provide tailored educational support, setting each learner up for success.

This inclusive process begins with a series of assessments and collaborative meetings involving parents and students. The insights gathered help us craft an Individual Learning Plan with specific, achievable goals. These plans are then shared with all staff, ensuring a unified teaching approach across subjects.

To keep our support effective and responsive, each plan undergoes a termly review, allowing us to refine and adjust strategies based on student progress. By meeting learners where they are and addressing their unique educational needs, we create an environment where every student can thrive.

BABY MANIA:

Year 10 Health students have been taking robotic baby dolls home to experience what it is like to raise a baby. These baby simulators really put students through the ups and downs of caring for an infant—sleep deprivation included. It’s a clever way to teach responsibility, patience, and just how demanding newborn care can be. Have students been handling it well, or has there been a baby-related meltdown or two? Find out more by reading further into the newsletter.

SENIOR BOYS FOOTBALL AT SWAN HILL:

The senior boys football team showed tremendous determination and resilience at Swan Hill, giving their all in every contest. Despite facing physically dominant opponents, our students demonstrated great sportsmanship and teamwork. Although the results didn’t go their way, their hard work and perseverance were truly commendable. Well done, team—your efforts make us proud!
