From the Principal

Dear School Community

What a wonderful week we had last week! It was a time of celebration, connection, and community spirit—made even more special by an incredible coincidence. On the very day we marked our Pilgrims of Hope day we received the joyous news of the election of our new Pope, Pope Leo XIV. What a powerful reminder of the richness of our faith and the hope that continues to guide us forward!

Our Pilgrims of Hope day was a beautiful celebration of everything that makes our school community so special. From our Mother’s Day Morning Tea to the Cross Country, the day was filled with energy, love, and laughter. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff for the preparation and care they put into making the day such a success, and to our amazing students who participated with enthusiasm, encouragement, and great spirit. I am always blown away by the way our students support one another—your kindness and teamwork were on full display. Awesome work, everyone!

Over the past two weeks, we have also been delighted to welcome new families through our doors for Principal Tours. It’s always a joy to show others the heart of St. Liborius, and we are thrilled with how enrolments are progressing. If you know any families with children ready to start school, please encourage them to book a tour. We know that once they step foot into our school, they will feel the warm welcome and vibrant community that makes us who we are. Enrolments will remain open until Friday 23 May.

A quick reminder that we have now transitioned to our Winter Uniform. Please ensure that students are wearing the correct uniform each day. If you need any assistance with uniforms, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Let’s keep walking together as Pilgrims of Hope!

With many blessings,

Alannah Darmody
