Welcome to Term 2!

We are so excited to be back for what promises to be an engaging and vibrant eleven-week term filled with curiosity, creativity and connection. There’s a lot to look forward to this term, with rich learning experiences planned across all areas of the curriculum.
In Science, we will be diving into Chemical Sciences, where students will explore our Inquiry question: "How do Chemicals Impact Life on Earth?" This unit is designed to spark wonder and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them. There will be hands-on experiments, engaging tasks, and exciting incursions to bring learning to life.
In addition to our science learning, students will continue to develop their skills in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, while also building their collaborative and critical thinking skills through Inquiry and wellbeing programs. Term 2 is always a wonderful time of growth and momentum, and we can’t wait to see what our learners achieve.
We also have a staffing update to share. This term, Mrs Nicole McPhie will be taking over as the classroom teacher for 4C as Mrs Stacey Cupo prepares to welcome her first child—what an exciting time for her and her family! Mrs McPhie brings a wealth of experience to our team, with a strong background in engaging students through high-quality teaching and fostering inclusive, supportive classroom communities. She is passionate about student wellbeing and creating a space where every child feels safe, heard and empowered to do their best. We are thrilled to welcome her and know that the students of 4C will benefit from her thoughtful and energetic approach.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful Term 2 ahead full of learning, laughter and memorable moments. Let’s make it a great one!
