"Heavenly Father,
we come before you with grateful hearts as we begin a new week.
We thank you for your love, your grace, and the opportunity to draw closer to you.
We ask for your guidance and wisdom as we seek to deepen our faith
and understanding of your will.
Grant us clarity of mind and a spirit of unity as we gather together this week.
May our prayers be sincere, our hearts open,
and our week be filled with your presence.
We ask this in your holy name.
Amen"
We warmly invite 1/2VS and 1/2CW to attend the Faith Formation Workshop this Thursday the 26th of June at 7.00pm. This will take place in the school hall.
The workshop will be facilitated by Pauline Cicutto. Pauline is a Religious Education Learning Consultant at MACS, who specialises in faith formation evenings for families. Throughout the evening the children will have the opportunity to engage and develop an understanding of the importance of God within our lives and how we can build a relationship with God. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to be part of this event. We look forward to seeing you.
It's time again to start collecting for the St Vinnies winter appeal. The St Vinnies Winter Appeal provides food and clothing for people who are experiencing difficulty in their lives. Each year as a school community we come together to donate to this worthy cause. This year, our Social Justice Leaders and Year 6 cohort will take on the important responsibility of collecting, sorting, and preparing all the donated goods for distribution.
Each learning space has been provided with a basket where all donations can be placed. You can also leave your donations at the front of the library. So please let’s work together and make this appeal a worthy one. Together, we can make a difference.
The following goods are recommended for donation.
Canned foods | Baked beans, spaghetti, corn, soup, tuna, sardines. |
Non perishables | Pasta, rice, long life milk, jam, sugar, tea bags, noodles, soup packets, cereal. |
Clothing: | Beanies, socks, scarfs, blankets. |
Toiletries | Disposable razor blades, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant. |
Baby items Baby clothing | Nappies, wipes Sizes 0-3 years of age. |
All donations can be made directly to your child's class or can be left in the front school foyer. Your kind donation will assist those in need.
