Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank You for Celebrating Learning With Us!
A huge thank you to our wonderful school community for attending our Celebration of Learning last Thursday. It was fantastic to see such strong support and involvement. Well done to all the children for their great work and confident presentations you should be very proud!
This newsletter has a list of reminders so please take the time to read this page:
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the faith journey of our students and their families, we will be holding Parent & Child Faith Education Evenings for Year 1/2.
These evenings are a special opportunity for children and their families to come together and explore their faith in a meaningful and engaging way. At least one parent with their child is expected to attend. You are only required to attend once.
The time and day for 1/2VS & 1/2CW is
Wednesday, June 26 @ 7:00pm
Please note that our scheduled School Closure Day has been changed from Thursday, 12th September to Friday, 5th September. This change is due to the availability of our guest speaker for the professional learning day.
As a result, our Father’s Day Breakfast will now be held on Thursday 4th September. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
Parents are asked to ensure all of your child’s belongings are labelled including lunch boxes, drink bottles and clothing i.e. sports jackets, hats and jumpers, beanies. Labelling items means that they can be returned to their rightful owner.
We have many families going on very well deserved overseas family holidays in the next few months. Please remember to send an email to the office and your child’s teacher letting us know your child will be on extended leave.
As we move through the colder months, we continue to prioritise the health and wellbeing of our students and staff at St Fidelis. Each day, we maintain strong hygiene practices including:
We kindly ask that if your child is displaying any cold-like symptoms, such as a runny nose, cough, sore throat or fever, they remain at home until they are well. This helps to minimise the spread of illness within the school community. If your child becomes unwell during the school day, we will contact you to collect them promptly.
A reminder to all families that all school communication is now shared through the NFORMA Parent Portal. It’s important that you are regularly checking the portal to stay up to date with school news, events, and notices.
Please refer to this week’s newsletter for instructions on how to access the portal. NFORMA is our key communication tool, and staying connected ensures you don’t miss important information.
Fees have been distributed to all families.
Can you please ensure that your fees are paid before Friday June 27th
Thank you to all the families who have paid their fees in full. Our school does rely on school fees for many recurrent costs so prompt payment is appreciated. Thank you to all the families who have paid their fees in full.
