Mobile Phones
This is a friendly reminder that while students are permitted to bring mobile phones to school, they must be switched off and securely stored in the tubs provided in the learning centre upon arrival each morning. Phones are not to be used in the morning when they arrive at school.
There is also a growing number of students using smart watches to contact people. If you need to contact your child during school hours, please do so via the school office.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Level 4 Sport
This Friday, our Level 4 students have the exciting opportunity to participate in interschool sport, proudly representing our school in a range of games including netball, football, soccer, t-ball, rounders and lawn bowls. These sessions not only allow students to build on their teamwork and sportsmanship but also give them the chance to challenge themselves, stay active, and form strong connections with their peers and other schools in the community. It's been fantastic to see the students showing such enthusiasm, resilience, and school pride each week!
Parliament Excursion
As part of our Civics and Citizenship studies, the Year 6 students participated in an engaging excursion to Parliament House and Cooks’ Cottage in Melbourne. At Parliament House, students explored the chambers, learnt about how laws are made, and took part in an interactive role-play that deepened their understanding of the democratic process. In the afternoon, students visited Cooks’ Cottage, where they explored the lifestyle and living conditions of early European settlers. This hands-on experience helped them make meaningful connections between Australia’s colonial past and its present-day government. The day was both educational and memorable, sparking thoughtful discussions back in the classroom.
