Parent Payments

Parent Payments are yearly financial contributions made to the school by families. These payments are an optional contribution and the ongoing financial support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students.

Usually collected through the book pack ordering portal during Nov-Jan each year, Parent Payments are accepted at any time throughout the school year. If you have not yet made a financial contribution to your child's 2025 Schooling and you would like to do so now, please contact the office. Payments are accepted at the school via cash or EFT or families may also wish to use BPay. Families also have the option of regular instalment payments.

Suggested Parent Payment Amounts in 2025:

Prep (Foundation)  $327
JLA (yr 1/2)$327
MLA (yr 3/4)$323
SLA (yr 5/6)$331

Financial support from our families enables us to purchase and supply vital resources and consumable items to our students each school year, which assists in facilitating an engaging and well-rounded learning environment at Newtown Primary School. A detailed 'Parent Payment Arrangements' document for each learning area can be found on the school's website

We want to thank you for all your support, whether that’s through vital financial contributions, fundraising or volunteering your time. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we offer. Within our school this support has allowed us to continue to deliver an outstanding education to all students at Newtown Primary School.

If you have any queries around the 2025 Parent Payment, please contact the office or email newtown.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
