Emerging Leaders
During 15 - 18 May, a selection of Year 8 students attended an online ‘Emerging Leaders Forum’ run by Melbourne University.
The students were connected with other schools around Victoria via Webex to workshop practical strategies for implementing global political and environmental change.
The activities and discussions were lively and entertaining, with students showcasing their group project at the conclusion of the forum.
“I enjoyed learning how to be a better leader” Delilah Murphy, Year 8
“My favourite part was working with my friends to brainstorm ideas for climate change”

The Flourishing Journey
"During our time at The Flourishing Journey, Lekha and I got the opportunity to explain our knowledge on Women Empowerment. After listening to inspiring young women, we learnt everyone in this world is going through something so instead of hating on people we should embrace and respect one another"

School for Student Leadership
Once again, we are thrilled to be sending a team of Year 9 students off to School for Student Leadership for a term of wonderful opportunities.
Harper Bennett, Laura Woodhouse, Lily James, Kyle Winters and Will Duncan will be spending 8 weeks of Term 3 at the Gnurad Gundidj campus where they will be completing an intensive curriculum, largely based on leadership development, outdoor expeditions and community projects.
The students have already been meeting regularly as a team to prepare and they have already shown some exemplary teamwork and leadership skills. We wish them well, as they continue our school’s long and proud association with this outstanding program, and we look forward to updating you on their progress next term.
