Boorowa Central School's Swim Carnival: A Splashing Success

Boorowa Central School made waves on Wednesday 7 February when students and staff gathered for the annual swimming carnival. With the sun beaming down and spirits high, the day promised a showcase of talent, sportsmanship, and school spirit.

The carnival kicked off to a fantastic start with the weather playing its part perfectly, providing ideal conditions for a day of aquatic competition and fun.

Infants’ students enjoyed a splash in the pool and developed their confidence and aquatics skills.

The Taylor sisters dominating the pool with their remarkable performances earning the Green house some solid house points.

Well done to all students who participated and challenged themselves by having a go and representing their house! So many students persevered, gained PB’s and demonstrated resilience throughout the day.

Adding to the carnival's success was the commendable effort by the Student Representative Council (SRC) in managing the canteen with Di Walsh, Ms Mahoney and Ms Miller. Offering a delectable array of snacks and refreshments, the SRC ensured that everyone remained energised and satisfied throughout the day.
