Principal's Report

Welcome back to the 2024 school year. 

My name is Michael Rathborne, and I am the newly appointed permanent principal at Epping Secondary College. 

Epping Secondary College is the third school I have been a principal of, and this is my 14th year as a principal.

Can I start by just stating how excited I am to be here and how impressed I am with all the students and staff that I have interacted with so far.

 Epping Secondary College is a great school that with combined efforts can become an even greater school.

 It has been a fantastic start to the term so far and it has been inspiring to witness the dedication of students to their learning. 

I hope that as the year progresses, I get to meet with many of our parents and that together we never lose sight of the fact that our goal is ‘learning for life’ and that for all of us ‘this is my school, this is your school, and this is our school’.
