Principal's Message
Mrs Ameera Hassanein
It's been a busy few weeks at the school with plenty happening. A number of activities and events have taken place, and there is still a lot coming up before the end of term.
Well done to all students in Year 3 and 5 who recently completed NAPLAN! The effort and focus we saw throughout the testing period was commendable. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our NAPLAN Coordinator, Mr Brettargh and the Year 3 and 5 teaching and support staff for their coordination and supervision of the students during the week.
Some events to look forward to over the next two weeks include Harmony Week (this week), Swimming Program (30th March).
Year 5/6 students have been working hard on their SHOWCASE afternoon and are keen to share with their families and peers across the school. We encourage all families to attend this special event and celebrate their efforts. Tuesday 31st of March at 2.00pm in the 5/6 space.
Exciting School Building Updates

We are pleased to share some exciting news regarding upcoming developments at our school. We have been successful in securing funding for a new prep extension upgrade, which is expected to commence either over the upcoming holidays or early next term.
This project will enhance our learning environment and provide improved facilities to better support our students and staff. We will keep you informed as timelines are confirmed and work begins.

In addition, we are thrilled to announce that the school has also secured a brand-new Art Room building. This dedicated space will further support and enrich the excellent creative and visual arts programs already taking place across the school. These developments reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality learning environments and opportunities for all students.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing student wellbeing and engagement, we are continuing to develop more play-based opportunities across the school.
We are pleased to share that a new basketball rings for our Foundation to Year 2 students and 3/4 students is currently being installed.
This initiative will provide additional opportunities for active play, skill development, and social interaction during recess and lunchtime.
Work on the installation commenced last week and, weather permitting, will continue over the coming weeks. We are excited about the positive impact this will have on our younger students and their playground experience.
