To celebrate Harmony Week, 5 Aqua and 6 Aqua participated in a virtual artmaking lesson with artist, Marikit Santiago. 

A great range of public schools from across NSW joined in this event, organised by The DoE Arts Unit.

Marikit shared her artmaking practice, drawing inspiration from her Australian-Filipino heritage to inspire students to create their own artworks referencing their personal culture through the use of colour, icons and mark-making techniques.

Here are their finished artworks, celebrating their identity and culture.
