Reminder St Joseph’s Feast Day – 19th March
Please mark your calendars for Thursday 19th March, as Our Lady Star of the Sea celebrates our School Feast Day in honour of St Joseph.
Last year we were blessed to welcome the Sisters of Saint Joseph from Orange to join us in celebration. This year, we look forward to continuing that wonderful spirit of community and faith.
The day will include: Mass, performances from our specialised groups, sausage sizzle and time together as a school community
Further details will be shared closer to the date. We look forward to celebrating this special day together.
Holy Week
This year, to enrich our Holy Week celebrations, we will be holding daily prayer and representations leading up to the school holidays. As Easter falls within the break, we want to ensure our students deeply understand this most significant season of our Liturgical Calendar. Each morning at 8:50 am, the school will assemble for a brief performance, featuring an act and a song, and parents are warmly invited.
Our goal is to create a meaningful and engaging experience for all students, fostering a deeper understanding of the events of Holy Week. This initiative will beautifully demonstrate our identity as a Catholic school and strengthen our sense of community.
