Prayer for Holy Week

Lord, let everything I do in the coming Holy Week be inspired by You.

Help me to remember that nothing is important in my life 

unless it glorifies You in some way. 

It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day of my life.

Help me to enter fully into your Passion through my Lenten promises 

and always be reminded that You went to the desert, the garden and the cross for me.

Sacrament of Confirmation

Confirmation is a significant milestone in the spiritual lives of our young people. As one of the three Sacraments of Initiation, alongside Baptism and Holy Communion, it is the moment where the candidate is sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through the laying on of hands and anointing with the Oil of Chrism, our candidates are strengthened to live out their faith more deeply and witness to the Gospel in their daily lives. Congratulations to Ellie and Lachlan who took this next beautiful step in their faith journey.
