Diary Shelves in student toilets

Towards the end of last term the SRC successfully campaigned for the addition of shelves to place school diaries/other materials in the school toilets. A large number of students had been asking for this addition as there was previously no place to put a diary in the school bathrooms. As a trial, these shelves were installed in the female junior and senior bathrooms. As they have been treated with respect and have seen a large amount of positive feedback, we are currently in the process of requesting (through the Grounds and Facilities Committee) to have these shelves installed in the male junior and senior toilets as well. 

The SRC is wanting to thank everyone for their respect to this addition and for using them appropriately. We are hoping for the new lot of shelves to be installed as soon as possible.

Plans for Term 3

The SRC and Student Leadership Team are working on a range of wonderful events and activities for Term 3. These include Footy Colours Day, R U OK Day and house based competitions. In addition to our focus on building a greater sense of community at Chelt.Sec, we are also in the process of breaking down the information the student body provided through the Attitudes to School Survey last term. This data will assist with the development of student voice groups (please keep your eyes open for an opportunity to get involved) and drive action throughout the school. Watch this space!
