From The Principal Team

Hi Parents and Carers,

What a fabulous fortnight it has been for our school.

Two key events that have brought us together as a community - our BPS Olympics Day and the Year 4-6 House Athletics Carnival. What stood out to us was our students willingness and enthusiasm to be involved. Our students were supported to join in, try something that they may not have tried before, collaborate with students from other year levels, and have a lot of fun along the way. We recognise the effort from families at home to help ensure your child is organised and ready for events like these, and we thank you for your support. Next week we will come together again as a school community for our Book Week dress up day on Wednesday. Families are very welcome to join in the fun at our assembly, beginning shortly after 9am, where all students will have the opportunity to parade their Book Week costumes and celebrate the joy of reading.

Congratulations to both our T-Ball and Hockey teams, who competed at the Regional round of competition on Tuesday and Wednesday. Callan, Alex, Will, Ethan, Cooper, Quinn, Ryder, Archer, Max, Henry, Hus and Ethan played in the T-Ball team, and Joel, Blake, Alfie, Rohan, Alex, Billy, Mack, Dylan, Dane, Jack and Nathan played in the Hockey team. Congratulations to these students for making it this far in the competition and for doing such a wonderful job in representing our school; proudly demonstrating BPS values. Thank you to Mr Joe Lilburne  and Mrs Samantha Robinson for coaching and supporting these teams.

We hope you've enjoyed stopping by the Book Fair before school this week if you've had the chance. Alternatively, all classes have had the opportunity to visit so your child may have come home sharing some details or wish list items with you. Thank you to Mrs Charlotte Molloy, as well as the many parent volunteers, for running and assisting with the Book Fair, and thank you to our community for your support of the event.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Kind Regards,

David, Grace and Ellen
